MLCC Hosts First STANAG 4441 Information Session
Prague, 12 May 2026 – The Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre (MLCC) successfully conducted its first STANAG 4441 Information Session, bringing together 22 participants from 10 nations for an intensive one-day focused on military transport of dangerous goods.
The session provided a comprehensive overview of STANAG 4441 and AMovP‑6, highlighting their critical role in improving the safe, efficient, and harmonised movement of dangerous goods across NATO and EU operations.
Participants explored key topics such as:
- Military and civilian DG regulations
- European military mobility developments
- Road and air transport procedures (SRD 6.2 and SRD 6.6)
- MLCC support for national implementation
The training also addressed the core challenge of fragmented national regulations, which can cause delays, risks, and inefficiencies. STANAG 4441 offers a unified solution, enabling safer transport, faster cross-border movement, and better interoperability among nations.
Participants particularly valued the high-quality instruction, practical exercises, and detailed insights, while suggesting that future sessions could be extended over multiple days to allow more in-depth discussion.
Based on this feedback, MLCC plans to organise additional sessions and dedicated instructor workshops to further support the implementation and training of STANAG 4441.
Bottom line: STANAG 4441 is a key enabler for safe, fast, and coordinated military logistics across NATO and Europe.
