Exercise Group Meeting – Internal (EGM-Int) for Exercise CAPABLE LOGISTICIANS 2027 (CL27)

The Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre (MLCC), in cooperation with Lithuania as the Host Nation, organized the Exercise Group Meeting – Internal (EGM-Int) from 24 to 27 November 2025 at the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy in Vilnius, Lithuania. The meeting aimed to advance preparations for the NATO exercise Capable Logisticians 2027 (CL27) through detailed coordination with the Host Nation and planning activities for 2026.

The CL27 exercise, scheduled for 2027, is designed as a LIVEX to enhance multinational logistics interoperability and test innovative concepts and technologies in a realistic environment. During the meeting, participants addressed key topics such as infrastructure requirements, CIS support, accommodation and catering plans, delineation of responsibilities, and integration with other NATO exercises.

Representatives from MLCC and the Lithuanian Armed Forces agreed on timelines for upcoming conferences, confirmed Lithuania’s readiness to provide facilities and support, and discussed the signing process for the Technical Arrangement. The meeting also covered functional areas led by Lithuania, coordination of exercise establishment details, and involvement of industry partners under NATO and EU frameworks.

With 25 participants from multiple branches, the EGM-Int successfully achieved its objectives and set the course for continued collaboration between MLCC and Lithuania in preparation for CL27.
