From 18 to 23 October 2026, the CRP – JLSG OPORD Development event for the Capable Logisticians 2027 (CL27) exercise was conducted in Vilnius, Lithuania, under the organization of the Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre (MLCC) and with Lithuania acting as the Host Nation. The workshop brought together logistics subject matter experts, staff officers, functional area leaders, and representatives of the future JLSG HQ from participating NATO and partner nations.  Activities were hosted at the Lithuanian Armed Forces Officers’ Club of the Vilnius Garrison, providing a collaborative environment for intensive operational planning. The primary objective of the event was to develop the Joint Logistics Support Group (JLSG) Operational Order (OPORD) for the upcoming CL27 exercise. Throughout the week, participants worked in multinational planning teams to refine logistics concepts, responsibilities, coordination procedures, and support requirements. Experts from communications, movement and transportation, supply and services, medical support, maintenance and recovery, and other functional areas contributed to the planning effort. The event enabled direct coordination among nations and organizations, ensuring a common understanding of logistics tasks and command relationships for CL27. By the end of the event, all SMEs had developed and presented their respective sections of the JLSG OPORD and agreed on follow-on actions. The outcomes significantly advanced planning for CL27 and strengthened multinational logistics interoperability in preparation for future large-scale operations and exercises. The event successfully established a solid foundation for the finalization of the JLSG OPORD, contributing to the overall readiness and success of the Capable Logisticians 2027 exercise in Lithuania.
