Prague, 3 September 2026 – The Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre (MLCC) successfully conducted its second Information Session on STANAG 4441, welcoming 14 participants from 10 nations for a focused programme on the military transport of dangerous goods (DG).

Building on the success of the first session in May 2026, participants received an overview of STANAG 4441 and AMovP-6, with particular attention to their practical application in road and air transport. The programme combined theoretical instruction with hands-on exercises, giving attendees a deeper understanding of harmonised dangerous goods transport procedures within NATO and the EU.

The training addressed the challenges caused by fragmented national regulations and highlighted how STANAG 4441 contributes to safer transport, improved interoperability, reduced border-crossing delays, and enhanced military mobility.

Participants also explored current developments in NATO and EU military mobility initiatives, including the EU Military Mobility Package and the broader goal of facilitating faster military movement across Europe.

Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants praising the quality of instruction, practical examples, and detailed explanations of the Service Regulatory Documents (SRDs). Several attendees recommended extending future sessions and incorporating additional workshops to allow for even greater practical engagement.

Following the success of this second event, MLCC plans to continue supporting nations through future STANAG 4441 information sessions and implementation-focused activities.

Bottom line: STANAG 4441 remains a key enabler for safe, efficient, and interoperable military logistics, strengthening operational readiness and multinational cooperation across NATO and Europe.
