On July 1, 2025, the Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre (MLCC) signed a cooperation agreement with the Land Forces Academy (LFA), headquartered in Wroclaw, Poland. This partnership marks a significant step forward in advancing educational and operational activities within NATO logistics structures.
The agreement establishes a framework for joint initiatives, including collaborative research projects, educational programs, and the exchange of teaching staff between MLCC and LFA. Key focus areas include modern logistics solutions such as Additive Manufacturing (3D printing), Battle Damage Repair (BDAR), and Military Mobility.
As part of this cooperation, both organizations will jointly conduct workshops and courses on the operation of NATO logistics support IT modules, including the LOGFAS (Logistics Functional Area Services) system.
MLCC, representing 22 NATO member states, plays a central role in enhancing multinational logistics cooperation by facilitating information exchange and aligning with Alliance requirements. The Centre also serves as the NATO Department Head for Logistics Education and Training, delivering certified courses and organizing military exercises such as Capable Deployer (CADR), Capable Logisticians (CL), and Connected Logisticians (COLO).
This partnership significantly strengthens NATO’s educational and operational logistics capabilities, fostering the development of future military and civilian leaders equipped to operate effectively in multinational, complex logistical environments.
